School may be out for summer, but for the Coláiste Chiaráin Rowing Club, the season is really hotting up. Why not come to one of the regattas for a great day out and a chance to cheer on the school. You may get bitten by the rowing bug and find yourself getting involved! CCRC has started the summer series of regattas on a successful note. At Castleconnell regatta, Róisín Malone set the tone with a first place at the adaptive regatta. The winning ways were continued by Noel Malone, who saw off a field of 25 competitors to secure victory in the mens J14 single. In recognition for winning the most subscribed category Noel was awarded the Castleconnell perpetual trophy. The triplets completed a hat trick with a Gráinne Malone dominating the woman's J14 single. All crews impressed on the day, with many pipped to post in the hotly contested finals.
