Evening Study

Evening Study

Evening Study term 2 will commence on Monday 30/01/2017. Term 2 will run from Monday 30/01/2017 up to Thursday 25/05/2017 inclusive. The fee per student for term 2 is €80.
Forms for term 2 are now available from the school office. Any students who wish to take part in Evening Study for term 2 should return a completed evening study form along with payment of €80 per student to the school office on or by 30/01/2017. (cheques to this amount should be made payable to Limerick and Clare Educational Training Board)
If a student is currently registered in term 1 of evening study and wishes to continue on into term 2, the student should advise the school office they wish to continue and make payment of €80 on or by Monday 30/01/2017.

Please note there is no bus service available for Evening Study.

Transition Year Fundraiser

Ms. Powers Transition Year Social education class raised the sum of three hundred euro for Caherass Nursing Home through a number of fund-raising events. On Friday the money was presented to the Nursing home along with a performance from the school choir. It was a lovely occasion enjoyed by all involved. 

Dr. Fergus Heffernan

Eminent Psychologist Dr. Fergus Heffernan will visit our school on Thursday, December 1, 2016.  Dr. Heffernan holds qualifications as a psychologist,psychotherapist and a family therapist and is well known for his inspirational talks.

Dr. Heffernan will present workshops promoting positive mental health to the student body throughout the day and will meet with college staff and parents later that evening. The theme underpinning the day is Creating Resilience Within the Entire School Community.

All parents are cordially invited to a presentation by Dr. Heffernan entitled Understanding the Emotional Well Being of Teenagers, Children and the Family. This promises to be a thought provoking session which will look at why our teenagers and children do not have appeared to have developed resilience.   Light refreshments will be served.  Free Raffle on the night!
