Junior Cert Results: Letter to Parents

September 12th. 2011

Dear Parents,

I wish to inform you that the Junior Certificate Examination Results 2011 will be issued on next Wednesday, September 14th . I would be grateful if you could ensure that your son or daughter presents to school on this day, in full uniform. Classes will continue as normal up to 11.30am and at that stage I will commence the issue of results, on an individual basis.

Parents may collect their children, at any stage following receipt of results. Only these students will be allowed leave school as the school will continue for all other students until 3.40pm.

In recognition of their results, recipients may remain at home on Thursday, September 15th. but must return on Friday for normal classes. I am requesting that parents ensure full compliance in this, as there will be serious consequences for those absent on that date.

While I am very conscious that students will be celebrating on Wednesday evening, I would remind parents to be vigilant, especially in terms of attendance at discos etc. Please maintain the utmost caution in this regard, as we do not want any of our students to be put at any unnecessary risk.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation and offer my congratulations on this important next stage in your son or daughter’s educational experience.

Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Noel P. Malone

Principal
