Microsoft Certification

Form 4 - Microsoft Certification

Well done to our Form IV students who received their Microsoft Office Specialist certificates!

Coláiste Chiaráin travelled to UCD Boathouse in Islandbridge in Dublin to race against Blackrock College in the first annual boat race between the two schools. The weather was ideal for rowing with calm water and little wind. A total of seven races took place with Coláiste Chiaráin winning six. The rowers were delighted with their efforts and brought the cup home to Limerick. Well done to both clubs for a great day which we hope will become a tradition for many years to come

Quiz day!!

Best of luck to form V students from Michelangelo who are holding table quizzes for each year group on Wednesday 29th February to help raise funds for past pupils Emma Hannon and Jenny Loughran who are heading to Fiji to do charity work. We also hope our first years will enjoy their table quiz en Francais with thanks to the french department and the French Embassy. The questions are all "en francais" relating to La Francophonie - life, language, music, film, culture in French speaking countries.  Pupils will be able to use their ICT skills to download the quiz, research the answers and use the dictionary to help them.  They will then email their answers to the Embassy.

Important Notice: Registration Evening

Please note that our registration evening for incoming first years for the academic year 2012/2013 will take place in the South Court Hotel on Tuesday 28th February at 7pm. We look forward to meeting you all!!
