Instituto Cervantes

The spanish department organised a Spanish trip to Dublin for senior cycle students. We visited the Instituto Cervantes, one of the most important language organizations in the development of Spanish in the world. There, our students practised their oral skills with native speakers they were able to talk about themselves and their experience in Spain and with Spanish language and enjoyed playing language games.

Then we went to Azteca, a real Mexican restaurant, to enjoy real Mexican cuisine.  Hugo Camacho, the owner of the restaurant cooked quesadillas, nachos, burritos and tacos for all of us.
After lunch we went to the National Gallery and enjoyed a guided visit of the museum where we could admire Velazquez paintings and even a Picasso painting.
It was a fantastic day. ¡Un día fantástico!
